August 2004 Shelter Valley Folk Festival On Labour Day weekend 2005, Shelter Valley will be hosting its first of what will be an annual Folk Festival. Terry Martindale will be documenting all aspects of the preparations for this 3 day event. Hundreds of volunteers will transform the pastoral countryside into the festival grounds that will house an artisans' village, culinary vendors, wellness practitioners, lifestyles booths, a children's area and three music venues. The video captured will be used for a variety of purposes including promotions, fundraising and "the Making of a Folk Festival".
